If I put mocha (brown) velvet drapes up, how can I add another fabric with more texture with it?
I was thinking of doing a textured drape and a velvet? Will that work? Look good? Designers help.
Waffle textured might be cool, but remember velvet has a lot of texture on it’s own, so something sheer with it might be really neat. Because velvet is so heavy, go with something lighter, cotton is probably your best bet, experiment with weights and sheerness.
Colors that go nice with mocha brown are definitely red and/or gold, blue, turquoise or aqua, are also nice and relaxing.
Deep red or purple are a bit more outgoing, depending on you color scheme already, would definitely add character.
